There is a giant triangle in the sky right now. \ud83d\udd3a\u2728<\/p>\n

It\u2019s called the “Winter Triangle,” and it connects three of the brightest stars in the galaxy:<\/p>\n

1\ufe0f\u20e3 Betelgeuse (The red shoulder of Orion)<\/p>\n

2\ufe0f\u20e3 Sirius (The brightest star in the entire sky)<\/p>\n

3\ufe0f\u20e3 Procyon (The “Little Dog” star)<\/p>\n

Together, they form a perfect, massive V-shape that dominates the southern sky all night long.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s one of the easiest patterns to learn. Once you find Sirius (just follow Orion\u2019s belt to the left), the rest of the triangle connects itself.<\/p>\n
